The company was opened in September of 2010 and had successfully maintained a high standard in it’s diversified jewelry lines. The subsidiary company, Artistic Owl Emporium, became a DBA in August 2023 allowing the parent company to diversify and expand their brand. Artistic Owl Emporium looks forward to bringing the same excellent standards as well as some new and diversified products and designs. We will continue the individually and uniquely designed cards which tell about the stones, pearls, fittings, care and metaphysical properties of each beautifully designed necklace. Absolutely Unique LLC has sold our jewelry selections in the following venues in Ariaona: Zuva Gallery and Best of Everything in Scottsdale; The Arizona Opera in Phoenix; DeTomasso Gallery in Cave Creek; El Dorado Galleries in Sedona; and Solstice Gallery in Prescott. In conjunction with Event Network, our unique necklaces were displayed and sold in the museum gift shops at the Natural History Museum in New York, Perrot Museum in Texas, and Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, Canada. In our 10 years of service we sold our pieces at the Oasis Gift Show, the Ultimate Women’s Expo, Phoenix Comicon, Hidden in the Hills in Cave Creek/Carefree/Scottsdale, Old West Comicon in Tucson, Steven Restivio in San Francisco, California and Garan Beadagio Shows with venues throughout California. We were publicized on KOLD TV, advertised at the Ultraluxe Theaters in Scottsdale, had an article published in Green Craft Magazine on Seed Necklaces, and a full column article “Absolutely Unique LLC -Artists in the West Valley” in the West Valley View. Our brand has been well recognized throughout Arizona and California.

Although we use a very heavy thread to assure a long life, if your piece somehow breaks or is damaged please feel free to contact us via the email below. We at Artistic Owl Emporium have a one-time replacement policy. Make sure you collect all the pieces and place them in a zip-lock bag. We will attempt to restore your necklace to its original beauty with the items returned. If unable to fully restore it, we will design another lovely unique creation for you in its place. Personal Information
My name is Nancy Uhlmann. I am an owner and jewelry designer of both Artistic Owl Emporium and Absolutely Unique LLC. My love of stones and jewelry began at an early age, expanded into an undergraduate art education degree, and became a full reality upon my retirement. The colors, textures, and design features of various unique items and gemstones has assisted me in the creation of a myriad of very unique necklaces. When creating a gemstone design, I take several moments to just feel the stones to get a sense of presence and imagine a future creation. That is followed by a collection of materials which, when incorporated together, will make an amazing piece of neckwear. In the final step, I close my eyes and visualize the design as my hands work furtively to create what my vision has imagined. I was once asked to teach a how-to class on the creation of one of my designs. I had to decline. Each piece is so individual and inspired, and it would be impossible for me to lay out a plan for such an energizing and insiteful mission.
The more I learned about each gemstone, its story, and its place of origin, the more I wanted to create a necklace with as many of them as I could. This is why my collection is so diversified and unique. A gemstone region or even a unique rock from outer space can lead to the innovative creation of an amazing new collection of designs. As I make a necklace, I can feel and experience its place of origin and the nature of the people in that region. I have a deep respect for the stones and their cultural expressions which give my designs an unusual flavor that makes each necklace a very special work of art. My future goals and interests include the extension of my amazing personalized selections as well as the desire to pursue a colored stone GIA certification to expand my knowledge and further understanding of each gemstone’s authenticity.
Unique Business Opportunity
Please note that some of my designs are more playful, as in the steampunk and comic book collections. These unusual pieces were manifested from a customer request and became amazing new designs which have their own life and story. The method of creation remains the same; however, the playfulness of the pieces add a little humor and a break from the more personalized and emotional involvement required with the colored and gemstone versions.
The Steampunk and Greenfield Village Collections came about when I visited that site on a Michigan family vacation. At the time I was working with Event Network, Inc. and felt a collection of steampunk designs might be unique. The use of metal in a necklace seemed natural with The Ford Museum’s focus on cars and machinery and Greenfield Village’s focus on inventors of the Industrial Revolution. Therefore, I created a necklace for each inventor at the Greenfield Village site.
It was a fun collection and one that could be an innovative way for those who would like to honor a famous personality in their past with a memorable and sustainable historical reference.
